Michele is an executive-level arts leader, contemporary painter, and speaker whose work bridges rigorous institutional administration and deep creative practice. Currently serving full-time as the Executive Director for an arts organization, she navigates the complexities of non-profit governance, strategic planning, and donor cultivation while operating dynamically between Southern Oregon and Southern California.
Michele leads at the intersection of cultural strategy and artistic vision, championing sustainable arts ecosystems and community-centered infrastructure. As a scholar currently pursuing her PhD from the Institute for Doctoral Studies in the Visual Arts, she grounds her executive leadership in an extensive understanding of creative production.
An experienced speaker and presenter, Michele brings her unique dual perspective on cultural leadership, the business of the arts, and artistic advocacy to conferences and institutions. Her artwork has been exhibited in galleries and museums across the United States and internationally, reflecting a multifaceted career dedicated to elevating the cultural sector through both leadership and creation.
