Michele Allen Fulkerson
Michele's artistic practice is rooted in painting and photography, having started in a fine arts program in Northern Michigan and evolving through a career marked by extensive travel and shifts in life experience. She holds a BFA in Studio Art with an Art History minor (graduating Summa Cum Laude from Southern Oregon University) and an MFA in Painting from Savannah College of Art and Design. Her work is deeply engaged with the historical contributions of women artists and the genre of self-portraiture. Michele is currently pursuing a PhD in Visual Arts at IDSVA, further developing her research in this field. Her work has been exhibited internationally and is featured in private and corporate collections.
